A quiet weekend with the in-laws…

The wonderful garden gnome….

I am spending this weekend with my boyfriend, my boyfriend’s kids and my boyfriend’s parents at their vacation home in Høve, southern Sealand….
I have no computer, no spelling control and almost no internet… So this post is coming to you directly from my phone…

I would have written before, but I have been sick and still is a bit under the weather, so my intelligent musings about podcasts that I wanted to write will have to wait until next week…

But back to the post at hand… We are all gathered here this weekend to play “make belief christmas” because the granparents don’t get to see their grankids before after christmas… So we are gaving a sort-of-but-re ally-not-but-well-almost-but-not-entirely-christmas…
Especially this year it is really weird since the only weekend we all had the time was this weekend in NOVEMBER… and me and my boyfriend is having christmas with his parents this year so the only present exchange that will take place is between granparents and grankids. But we are all smiling and playing along, and despite the weirdness it is really pretty nice and cosy.

This years experience extraordinaire is the garden gnome that have showed up in their garden and there is absolutely no consensus on why it is there,  if it should be there and whether it should be removed as soon as possible…

Our lunch and the wonderful garden gnome in the background…

Personally I really love the garden gnome. I think it gives the garden and the vacation home some personallity and I think it fits really well since it is soon to be the season to be jolly.

But to summarize – I am alive and surviving and so is the garden gnome apparently… Merry almost-nearly-a-bit-too-early yuletide…
